Dr. Wu
Dr. Blake Wu is the founder and clinical director of The Sports Pod, a sports medicine clinic redefining what athlete care feels like. A graduate of the University of Toronto and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, he has over 15 years of experience treating athletes from the NBA, NHL, NFL, PGA, LIV Tour, and NCAA.
His approach blends deep clinical expertise with human connection—bridging recovery, performance, and longevity. Under his leadership, The Sports Pod has become known for combining advanced sports chiropractic care with five-star hospitality, setting a new standard for how athletes are cared for and coached to perform.

Dr. Riley
Dr. Riley Wertzberger, our Movement Specialist, is passionate about helping active individuals move better, recover faster, and perform at their highest level. As both a chiropractor and former Division I student-athlete at Georgetown University, she understands firsthand the physical demands of sport and the importance of personalized, evidence-based care that keeps people doing what they love.
Her clinical approach integrates chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, functional movement assessment, and rehabilitation programming to help patients improve performance, reduce pain, and build long-term resilience. Whether treating competitive athletes, active professionals, or individuals looking to return to an active lifestyle, Riley believes every patient deserves a treatment plan tailored to their goals.
Outside the clinic, Riley enjoys staying active and believes movement is one of the most powerful tools for lifelong health. She is passionate about helping every patient build confidence in their body and return to the activities that matter most to them.

With over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry, Coach Eric has become a trusted expert in functional movement, strength and conditioning, and sports rehabilitation. As the owner and founder of CrossFit Deep, Eric has helped thousands of individuals reach their unique performance and health goals.

Mikayla
Mikayla is our Rehabilitation Specialist with a passion for helping people move better, recover stronger, and return to doing what they love.
At The Sports Pod, Mikayla works closely with our Movement Specialists to guide athletes through individualized rehabilitation programs that address the root cause of pain—not just the symptoms. She is passionate about educating athletes, improving movement quality, and helping every individual build the strength and confidence to return to sport and everyday life.
As a former athlete herself, Mikayla understands the physical and mental demands of recovery. She brings a calm, encouraging coaching style and enjoys working with everyone from competitive athletes to active adults looking to move pain-free.

Moesha
Meet Moesha, the friendly face at The Sports Pod front desk. With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Poland, she blends empathy and organization to make every visit smooth and welcoming. From scheduling to billing—and a friendly chat after treatment—she keeps athletes at ease. Outside the clinic, she enjoys swimming, painting, and walking her dog. Known as the clinic’s “cheerleader,” Moesha brings positivity and warmth every day.

Denica, our GM, is the engine behind how The Sports Pod runs and evolves. With a deep background in youth athlete development and experience as a professional athlete, she bridges the gap between performance theory and real-world application.
At The Sports Pod, Denica ensures the clinic operates with the standards expected in high-performance sport — aligned teams, clear processes, and an athlete-first experience from start to finish. With a strong operational mindset and a people-first approach, she helps create an environment where both clinicians and athletes can perform at their best.
